Mark Pirie's edited edition of F W N Wright's Selected Post Alexandrian Poems released
In November, my edited selection of F W N (Niel) Wright's Selected Post Alexandrian Poems will be released by Earl of Seacliff Art Workshop.
I spent considerable time reading through the 4,000 poems Wright wrote in the final sixteen years of his life. The book is a representative selection of his later work, Post Alexandrian Poems, a coda or parallel to his epic poem, The Alexandrians.
Together this book and the earlier book of his selected poems, The Pop Artist's Garland, keep in print the best of his formalist poems and his ongoing variations on the English triolet.
The book will be available in hardback only from the Lulu indie bookstore.
