I am proud to announce that I have published a chapbook of tennis poems called Tiebreaker. The poems are written on famous players and the subject of tennis, including Wimbledon.
Players include Djokovic, Borg, Nadal, Kyrgios, and the Williams sisters.
There is also an addenda on Roger Federer by Bill Sutton, 1944-2025.
It is available at Lulu online bookstore.
This year a poem of mine 'Summer Days' was included in the new cricket anthology Catching the Light published by Fairfield Books in the UK, and edited by Nicholas Hogg and Tim Beard.
The book also includes about 10 poems from my anthology A Tinging Catch back in 2010, including Nelson Wattie, Nicola Easthope, James Brown, Nick Whittock, Jeffrey Paparoa Holman, Anne Louise Philpott, and Cyril Childs.
It is good recognition for my work as a cricket poet and editor in England.

The latest issue of my journal broadsheet, no.29, May 2022, features the distinguished Auckland poet and writer Kevin Ireland.
The issue prints a selection of his poems, mainly from his latest book, Just Like That (2021).
I have enjoyed Kevin’s poetry for many years and it’s an honour to feature him and some of his long-standing friends in broadsheet.
Others included are: Peter Bland, Petrus Borel (trans.), Bernard Brown. Johanna Emeney, Riemke Ensing, Kevin Ireland, Jeffrey Paparoa Holman, Brian Turner, Vincent O’Sullivan, Bill Manhire, Dorit Weisman (trans.), and C K Stead.
In March I published an eBook of love poems written between December 2021 and February 2022. It is available as a free EP like Indie bands do at Lulu.com Bookstore.
